The theatre is air-conditioned and seats up to 110 people with all seats providing an excellent view.
Provision for wheelchairs is available in row AA.
There is a Theatre Bar, open each evening or matinee, serving quality wine and beer by the glass. We also sell ice creams, and tea or coffee refreshments are available.
Company Theatre, began in 1980 with a group of nine performers under the name of "Company Players." Those initial nine are reflected in our logo.
Our first theatre was in St Michael's Church Hall, in Bayswater Road, Bayswater. It worked well with its small stage, backstage area, and a kitchen for refreshments at the side.

Company Theatre grew quickly in the late 1980's and when the opportunity arose to be part of the new Rose Centre community building in Belmont, we fundraised to help. In the middle of 1992, we moved the back stage make up tables and mirrors from the Church Hall, to The Rose Centre, and our talented theatrical members built the lighting grid, and donated the first lights. Over the years we have collected a wonderful range of costumes - with many thanks to Cathie Sandy. There are many people to thank for the shows we've produced and most of the names are in our HISTORY, Personnel Archive page.
